Cowrie Shell and Blue Recycled Glass Earrings

White cowrie shells are paired with pale aqua blue recycled glass beads from Ghana and brass beads from Ethiopia. Both the glass and brass are fair trade.

Some like to call the glass beads “sea glass” but they are actually handmade from recycled glass bottles that are crushed and melted in a clay mold by the Krobo tribe in Ghana.

These earrings are almost three inches long and 3/4 inches wide. The earwire is gold-plated stainless steel.
